More Caramel Cakes

For Thanksgiving I made a caramel cake, using the same Southern Living recipe I like.  A few days after Thanksgiving, I made a second caramel cake.  I gave most of it to my friends.  This second one I had some orange zest.

If you live near an Asian market and you want to try a traditional Thai coconut dessert, you can go that route. They're tasty this way, but if you grew up eating them like I did or if you have traveled to Thailand, it's another level.

Cherries are in season.  They have been very good, or so-so.  When they are good, they are really good.  Serve them up on some Blue Ridge china or in a silver bowl!
