Salmon with Pasta

Not the best photos in the world.  What's funny and scary is that during this little photo set-up, my hair caught on fire while I was bent over moving the candle.  Be careful out there!  Luckily my husband was next to me and helped me quickly put it out.

This was made with ground beef and pork.  Served over turmeric rice.

"Blueberry Hill" Crumb Cake

I made two: one I packaged up for a friend, and the other we ate.  We used frozen blueberries.

Egg Custard Weekend

Egg Custard Pie

I took a recipe belonging to my husband's cousin in Alabama, and decided to make it an "egg custard weekend."  I made this pie, and even had leftover custard to chill in a pitcher for drinking later.  The crust is also homemade.  I got the recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction.

Good Luck

This is collards. or as my husband says, "Soul Food."  This dish is very popular in Thailand, even though it's not a New Year's Day dish.  I make it here in the US now.  Quite delicious.
